How to Behave in a Museum or Art Gallery?

A friend of mine has invited me to go to a museum tomorow and an art gallery today. I want to know what appropriate behavior would be. I’ve never been to a museum or art gallery, and I don’t want to behave inappropriately. I’m afraid I’m going to do or say something stupid and everyone will look at me. How should I behave?
