It’s NOT a job I was looking for originally, but I love their worldwide famous art.

I am going through some changes in my life and I decided to go back to my field which is art and design after four years motherhood. I am working hard to rebuild my completed artist portfolio while I am working in a small family run art and craft store. Then someone contact me after my online resume and portfolio were saw. It’s a high scale art store manager position.

I don’t have much experience with manage “people” in store. Also, I was “A” student in ART college. So I consider myself have more artist talent than people skills.

However, I do love their creation. I have an interview with them tomorrow. Can anyone have manager experience (general, art or museum) give me some tips that I could learn from before the interview? Thank you very much and hope you have a good night.
Yes, English is my second language, but it didn’t stop me move to engineer department from a regular production line in one of the biggest computer company in the whole world in two years.
I am also a “A” student in my college both in the U.S.A. and my motherland.
There is no problem for me to make friend with my customers and I am not lack of confidence but management skills.
Also, I wasn’t looking for the store manager position. They contact me after they saw my resume and portfolio.
